The event kicks off with the Spaghetti Cook-off, where local families and teams compete to see who can claim the coveted prize for the best “red gravy.” Visitors can sample the various sauces throughout the competition, setting the stage for the delectable Italian cuisine to come.

As the festival gets into full swing, the air is filled with the tantalizing aromas of grilled Italian sausage, stuffed artichokes, spaghetti and meatballs, lasagna, muffalettas, pizza, cannolis, and freshly baked Italian cookies. This year’s festival takes place April 26th, 27th and 28th on Highway 51 next to the City Hall in Tickfaw.
